Well, our first week has been completed and I for one am happy with it. We read six (6) hero stories and each author has shown a different style, which makes for good variety and fun reading. (Kind of like television viewing. The show at seven isn't anything like the show at seven-thirty, despite being on the same channel.)
Thanks to Bevie, Blogless Troll, fairyhedgehog, Lisa, Whirlochre, and Writtenwyrdd for their contributions. I'm eager to read more and am glad to see some sequels already slated.
Hopefully our other authors (freddie, Ms Sparrow, and Trulyana) will get some time soon to add their submissions. There are a couple others, too, who haven't officially signed up yet, but have indicated they may like to submit every so often. Hopefully, they will.
Congratulations on an excellent Gala, authors!
Keep on writing.

I was a bit nervous but it's been fun and like you say, the variety in the stories is great!
Funny, I clicked on Post Comment to say, "Yay us!" FHH beat me to it!
This isn't being graded and is all in fun, so I think it's a good thing. Let's keep it up as long as it's still fun.

It was a fun week. reading 500 words is really easy, moreover, I've enjoyed the stories so much that I was bummed it ended so quickly!
I agree. It's all good fun so far.
The stories aren't over. Just the Gala. We're now on the Monday, Thursday, Saturday schedule.
However, should someone post who has not posted before I will schedule it right off.
Also, if we get too backlogged I will speed up post dates.
But we've had a good start.
